You Can Make a Difference

The Å·±¦ÌåÓý Foundation is an independent nonprofit 501(c) organization dedicated to advancing the mission of Å·±¦ÌåÓý. The Foundation supports the mission of Å·±¦ÌåÓý through the expansion of educational resources, as well as development and stewardship of relationships with the community. This community support enables the College to enhance academic programs, revitalize classrooms and equipment and provide scholarship support for deserving students.

Giving Opportunities

Annual Fund

A gift to the Å·±¦ÌåÓý Annual Fund provides unrestricted funds for the College to use where the need is greatest. These gifts can provide immediate support to Å·±¦ÌåÓý students and provide the College flexibility to address unforeseen opportunities or unexpected needs. Every gift to the annual fund, no matter the size, makes a huge difference.

Scholarships

You can make a lifelong impact on a student’s life by contributing to or creating a scholarship. To contribute to an existing scholarship or create a new one named in honor of a business or person or in memory of a loved one, please contact the Foundation Office directly.

We welcome gifts of any size. There is a minimum $1,500 annual donation to establish a named scholarship and a minimum $30,000 donation to establish an endowed scholarship. The Å·±¦ÌåÓý Foundation has a Memorial Scholarship Fund if you would like to give in memory of a friend or loved one and do not wish to create a named scholarship.

To apply for an Å·±¦ÌåÓý Foundation scholarship, students should log onto the MyÅ·±¦ÌåÓý student portal, go to My Money and select Scholarship Opportunities.

Planned Giving & Å·±¦ÌåÓý Legacy Society

Planned gifts or bequests are an excellent way to provide future support for Å·±¦ÌåÓý while also helping to meet your personal financial goals and define your legacy. Planned gifts can support scholarships, capital projects or academic programs of your choice. Through a will or other legal means, your planned gift will have a lasting impact and ensure that higher education remains accessible and affordable.

Charitable bequests are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law and may help reduce your estate taxes. If you would like to make a bequest in your will or living trust or plan a future gift through retirement plan assets or life insurance premiums, please contact us.

The Å·±¦ÌåÓý Legacy Society recognizes the generosity of donors who have included Å·±¦ÌåÓý in their estate plans. You are already eligible for the Legacy Society if you have made a deferred commitment in your will or other document. Simply notify us of your gift orÌý.

SeaWolves Athletics Club

The nonprofit SeaWolves Athletic Club provides financial support for Å·±¦ÌåÓý’s intercollegiate athletic programs. Through fundraising, the club helps improve the college’s facilities and equipment to give Å·±¦ÌåÓý student-athletes the best possible athletic experience.

Radiography Art Prints

The Å·±¦ÌåÓý Radiography program has available for purchase dozens of artistic prints of lobsters, fish, flowers and other images produced on an X-ray machine. Proceeds support learning opportunities for radiography students.
